Well Baby Care

In the first week of your baby's life, there are many routine tests and procedures, including bloodwork, screening for congenital heart defects and weight checks to ensure your baby is growing well.Working in partnership with your family doctor, midwives from our clinic can help facilitate a seamless care plan and guide you through this process.  

Who are our services for?

• If you had your baby at CGMH, you can self-refer, or one of the care providers at the hospital will send us a consult
• If you live within the CGMH catchment area
• If you have a family doctor in the Georgian Bay Family Health Team
• If you don't have access to a family doctor, we can provide care for the first six weeks postpartum
