At the Collingwood Well Baby Clinic, we are a midwife-led team dedicated to improving access to essential maternal and child health services in our community. By prioritizing patient-centered care, we connect families with high-quality, professional support to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood.
As a CGMH outpatient clinic, we work in close partnership with your family doctor to provide additional support after your baby arrives. Our fully integrated, interprofessional approach leverages the expertise of each care provider to meet the unique needs of new parents and their babies.
Our Services
- Breastfeeding Support – Certified Lactation Consultants available to assist with all breastfeeding concerns.
- Well Baby Care – Providing care for newborns up to 6 weeks postpartum.
- Mental Health Counseling – Support for postpartum mood disorders and emotional well-being.
- Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy – Guidance and therapy for postpartum recovery.
- Workshops & Groups – Educational and support sessions for parents.
- Daily Drop-in Hours – Flexible access to care when you need it.

Where to Find Us
Our clinic is located at 9811 Beachwood Road, inside the Lakeview Place Health Centre. We offer care in the hospital, in your home, or at our clinic, depending on your needs.
All services are fully covered by the Ministry of Health, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for families.

Who Can Access Our Clinic?
Our services are available to:
- Families living within the CGMH catchment area.
- Families who have delivered their baby at CGMH.
- Families with a family doctor in the Georgian Bay Family Health Team.
How to Access Our Services
- No referral is needed – You can self-refer to our clinic.
- If you do not have a family doctor, we provide care for the first six weeks postpartum.
